Carol grew up with dark yellow, gray teeth caused by tetracycline antibiotics that were prescribed for infections when her permanent teeth were developing. As a result she was embarrassed by her smile. Another dentist had made a start at helping her with her smile by placing some crowns on her upper front teeth but she was not satisfied. After talking with her to ascertain the goals she had for her smile we proceeded to crown (cap) her teeth with porcelain crowns. Carol writes "I have more confidence as a result of the dramatic improvement to my teeth. Not a week goes by that someone doesn’t compliment me on my smile."

DK had what is called an end-to-end bite. That is, his front teeth touched end-to-end when his back teeth touched in their natural bite relationship. The result of this type of bite is that the front teeth wear much faster than they should. He had also lost one tooth (the one to the right of the dark spot next to his gum tissue). In restoring DK's smile I replaced his old bridge and veneered his front teeth. The result is a much improved smile.

DS came to me because she was going to be married soon and move to Minnesota with her new husband. In the "Before Cosmetic Dentistry" picture you can see that she has some spacing caused by teeth improperly tilted (the front teeth are tilted away from each other) and some unevenness of the incisal edges. We decided that four porcelain veneers would give her the smile she wanted. DS was very satisfied with her new smile.

 Crown on Implant Xray

IC had to have a tooth removed and didn't like the "hole" in her smile. I replaced the tooth with a two-stage implant. In the 1st stage the implant (with the fins on its side) was surgically placed. After 3 months to allow the bone to heal around the implant work on the crown was started and you can see the end result: patient very satisfied with her implant and crown.

 After Cosmetic Partial Denture
|
LA came to me because her front teeth were very bucked (though it doesn't show so much in these photos) and she could not get her upper and lower lips together easily. Her front teeth were also very loose. When talking with LA I found that if her front four teeth were fixed so they were not bucked and wouldn't eventually fall out, she would be happy. LA and I decided that the best treatment for her would be to remove her front four teeth and replace them with a removable cosmetic partial denture. In the "After Cosmetic Partial Denture" photo you can see the result she had on the day I removed her front teeth. LA was ecstatic with the final appearance - she had always hated her smile.

 After Cosmetic Dental Contouring

Cosmetic Dental Contouring aka "Instant Orthodontics"
Sarah didn't like the appearance of her teeth when she talked and didn't want to go through orthodontics (braces) for one tooth. She decided she wanted her lower right front tooth contoured (the one that's higher). I was able, in about 3 minutes time, to give her the look she was wanting. (Notice your lower front teeth show more when talking and your upper front teeth show more when smiling.)
For other patients we've done all of their upper and lower front teeth greatly improving their smile in just a short time.

Closing a Gap Between Front Teeth
Carol came to see me because she read the Yellow Pages ad I have in the AT&T yellow pages and because she had hated the space between her teeth since she was a little girl. Even though she has a grown son, she decided the time had come to do something about the space between her two front teeth. The space was a good size to use bonding on. I told her it would only take one visit and her smile would be improved. We allowed an hour to close the space between her front teeth without any numbing of her teeth. When Carol walked past our 'Good-bye' mirror on the way out of our office - she couldn't hold back the tears. She now had a smile she was not ashamed of.
